Roblox has a new record of 47 million players!

This weekend, Roblox, the world’s largest player platform, has witnessed an unprecedented surge in the number of players and has broken historical records with the “inner scroll” between the two most popular games on the platform: Grow a Gardner and Steel a Brainrot.

According to Fortnite.gg-tracked public player data, on Saturday, 23 August, Roblox also surpassed an alarming 47 million online players. The platform, Grow a Garden, launched a “manager war” with the creators of the new contestant, “Steal a Brainrot”, which triggered the enthusiasm of the players and attracted a lot of traffic for their respective games, while also helping to record the number of Roblox players.

The event marked another new peak following the historic record of user participation by Roblox this summer, with the platform usually remaining online at around 30 million over weekends. By contrast, the entire Steam platform was the highest simultaneous online player on 23 August of 379.9 million, of which 11.2 million were users in the game. The Fortress Night peaked at 1.6 million players. The Steam platform was the first to reach 40 million simultaneous online players after the launch of Monster Hunter: The Wild.

Specifically, Grow a Garden recorded a peak of 22 million online players and 15 million Steal a Brainrot on August 23rd. The phenomenon-class game Grow a Garden allows players to buy and cultivate plants, including time-limited and rare types of mechanisms that drive players to compete for a huge peak in flow, while the Steal a Brainrot requires players to collect dreamable creatures and take them from their opponents.

While creating new online records for users, Roblox continues to enhance player safety – The platform has been controversial on several occasions because its main user group is adolescents. Last month, Roblox announced the introduction of a new age assessment technique to validate youth identity and allow users to establish “credible connections” for non-filter chats.
